I just found out that my best friend, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and wondered if anyone knew how long before it becomes deadly? This kind of caught the end I think that shes only 33, but apperantly it has for some time, but just caught, apperantly there is no cure, and I wondered how long she had with ... : (

You may have many years to enjoy the company of others. COPD has several causes, especially smoking. If your girlfriend lifestyle and makes clear, healthy choices you can live with you. COPD, but not curable, is not necessarily a death sentence. It is able for the young disease that cause lung cancer, but stay positive and remain physically active in order to prolong its lifespan. I suggest that research on the disease wherever possible and often this research. New therapies, clinical trials, studies, etc., which all take place, can actually result in a cure.
